The Verbrovibe Amp is the world's first hand wired replica of the 1963 Brown Vibroverb. The original was only built for a little over a year and was the first Fender amp designed that had the reverb effect built into the circuit. This same basic circuit would be found in all future Fender amps that had reverb through the Silverface era.
We feel that this is really the amp that influenced the whole Blackface Fender amp topography for the next decade.
The price range for good vintage examples has soared in the past few years; if you can find one for sale they are easily in the $10,00+ range.. Headstrong has done its thing to capture the timeless look, feel and tone of this highly prized amp.
Heyboer transformers have been custom made using original data sheets. We even kept true to the original design by using the tapped treble control as found on all Brown Era amps. The bias pot is the only feature we have added to the original design.
